The trumpet vine or trumpet creeper is a climber rich, shiny green foliage and a unique trumpet shape flower. Hochberg produce more than ten varieties of Campsis. All our Campsis plants are grafted as bushes to be grown as vines or top grafted onto stems of varying heights to make a patio tree. The compact varieties are used for the patio trees to ensure the head remains compact and full of flower. More than 10 years ago a breeder in Japan- 'Takarazuka' introduced a unique series of compact Campsis with high flowering performance which were later named the ‘Summer Jazz™' series. With these varieties the market possibilities changed and the patio tree concept was introduced: The market changed and those beautiful varieties are sold in flower around the world.
