Called the ‘Silk tree’, these are deciduous or semi evergreen, mimosa like, small ombrella, shaped trees. They provide a very nice shade here in Israel, where we are growing and grafting the six varieties that we are offering. We start the production in the open field of Moshav Bitzaron and offer the industry high quality plants of different sizes and shapes. This lovely small tree is very beautiful. When you look at it in the early morning the leaves are still closed and sleeping. Later, when the sun comes out, the leaves wake up and open. The flowers give much pleasure. It is always nice to sit down under the shade of the Albizia and enjoy the dance of the bees around the flower.
