Exciting visit of Dr. Dennis J. Werner to Hochberg Nursery

Hochberg Export Ornamental Plants will bring its new exiting catalogue for the coming season with the introduction of a range of new varieties. We are excited to meet you and to discuss market developments and business future.

We were very proud to have Professor Dr. Dennis J. Werner Werner from the Department of Horticultural Science of the North Carolina State University (NCSU) in our nursery this summer.
The Department of Horticultural Science is worldwide recognized as a leader in innovative research in a broad-range of applied and basic research.

Dr. Dennis J. Werner has next to teaching responsibilities research responsibilities with focus on breeding of tree fruit and ornamentals.
The exciting new cultivar of Cercis named Ruby Falls is the first cultivar to be released from the breeding program which began back in 2000/2001 when the initial hybridisations occurred. 'Ruby Falls' is unique in combining the very best characteristics of its grandparents 'Forest Pansy' and 'Covey' (Lavender Twist®).
